Post 9: My favorite book

Hi my dear readers, I hope you're well. Today I'm talking to you about my favorite books. One of my favorite books are "Las venas abiertas de América Latina" (The opens veins of Latin America) by Eduardo Galeano (rest in peace :c). In this book Galeano tell us about the history of our continent and how it was sacked and opressed by the Europe conquerors. It is easy and pleasent to read compared history books.
Another books that I like a lot are series of "A song of Ice and Fire" (canción de Hielo y Fuego) by George R. R. Martin, especially the tird book "A storm of swords" (tormenta de espadas), this saga inspired TV show "Game of thrones". The story is located in fictional continents Westeros and Essos and tell us about a dynastic war among several families for control of the iron throne, also the rising threat of supernatural creatures they thought to be extinct. Is very interesting how the story tells to us. Each chapter is related by the perspective of different characters.
The last books I've read are "Aves de Chile: sus islas oceánicas y península antártica" by Enrique Couvé, Claudio Vidal and Jorge Ruiz. I took with me when I travel in vacations to recognize birds in South. The other one is "Sapiens. De animales a dioses: Una breve historia de la humanidad" by Yuval Noah Harari. In this book, Harari analyzes the human history and how homo sapiens conquered the world. His principal argument is that the homo sapiens is the only animal be able to cooperate in large number.
